    Rites For Widely Known Coal Operator Held at Home
    Adrien Sicard, 63, widely known coal operator, was buried in Elmwood Cemetery Thursday morning, Johns directing. Services were held at his home, 1440 Tenth Place, South, at 9 a.m. and from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m.
    Mr. Sicard, president, Peerless Cahaba and West Helena Coal Companies, died in New York Monday following and operation. He is survived by his widows, Mrs. Amelia Sicard; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Cobb, Birmingham, and Mrs. Hugh Hodge, New York; a grandson, Dickie Cobb; a nephew, Paul Sicard, and a brother, in France. Mr. Sicard was a native of Argental, France.
