MRS. ROBERT WOODSON, native Virginian Passed Away at Home in Ninth Street Early Friday Morning.

Mrs. Robert Woodson, 82 years old, died at her home in Ninth Street Friday morning at 12:30 o'clock. Mrs. Woodson had been an invalid for years, and her death was due to a general giving way of her health.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Dr. E. F. Abbott, pastor of the Presbyterian church of this city, and burial was in Hillcrest cemetery.

Mrs. Woodson was born May 30, 1840, in Washington, Rappahannock county, Virginia. Before her marriage she was Miss Anna Alberta Strother. She came to Missouri at the age of 16, and entered the school of the late Dr. W. W. Robertson, then known as Fulton Female Seminary. She was married May 26, 1859, to Robert Woodson who died several years ago.

Seven children survive: French, Vienna, Ill.; Oscar, Evansville, Ind.; Albert, Columbia, S.C.; Edgar, St.Louis; Miss Zella, St.Louis; and Misses Mary and Kate, of this city.

Mrs.Woodson was a faithful Christian, although owing to illness in her later life she was not permitted to take part in any of the activities of the church. She was a devoted mother, and her teachings bear fruit in the lives of her sons and daughters who are engaged in various spheres of usefulness. Friends in Fulton extend sympathy to all those to whom her death brings bereavement.
