- Note: Martha Stone Cobb Daniel wrote the following about Fannie Lee Cobb and Cecil Camp: "Fannie Lee married Cecil Camp - Fannie Lee was a darling, spoiled brat that none could resist - After all, being the baby of ten children, you deserved to have plenty of attention - She was the most talented of all - No one ever laughed when she sat down at the piano! Believe me, she loved her music and no one ever had to remind her it was time to practice - When she played, everyone wanted to sing, dance, or cry, whichever her mood happened to be - Why have we let the Box take the place of all the real talent that could be encouraged and developed today? Fannie Lee also excelled at art too, and what made her exceptionally unusual, she was never the temperamental type - This was indeed her charm, and people sought her out, as wherever she was, there was gaiety and happiness. Her effervescence was contagious to all who were around - She and Cecil also lived in Vernon for a short time and moved to Birmingham - Vernon's loss was Birmingham's gain - Fannie Lee had attended Judson College, and there she had made many friends in Birmingham before she moved there to live."
