    Cornwell, March 9 -- W Banks Robinson died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert McDill, at Cornwell at the age of 80 years. The funeral services were conducted this afternoon at three o'clock by the Rev. R Roy Brown of the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian church and the interment was made in Pleasant Grove church graveyard.
    Mr. Robinson was one of Chester county's best known citizens and possessed a large circle of friends. He served with notable bravery in the War Between the States, going through the entire four years. At the opening of the struggle he volunteered in the First South Carolina cavalry under Capt. Walker. He was an elder in the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian church and was always an active church worker.
    Mr. Robinson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert McDill of Cornwell.
