Dionicia Miranda1

born between 24 July and 13 October 1860, died before 1870

Facts and Notes

  • Birth: Between 24 July and 13 October 1860; She was not listed with the family on the 1860 census, which was taken on 24 July, and was baptised on 13 Oct, suggesting that she was born sometime between those dates. Given the Mexican custom to baptise a child shortly after birth, she was probably born on 11, 12 or 13 October; however, no documentation proving her birth date could be found.1,2
  • Baptism: 13 October 1860; Doña Ana, Doña Ana County, New Mexico, USAB1
  • Death: Before 1870; Dioncia did not show up in the 1870 or 1880 census with the Pilar Miranda family, nor were any marriage records found for her, suggesting that she probably died young.3,4
