• Death: 3 September 2009; Arlington County, Virginia, USABGO; Dick Cobb awoke in the morning of 3 September complaining of chest pains. He took nitroglycerin to alleviate the pain. His daughter Sandra Tyson, who had spent the night at his house, asked if he wanted her to call 911. He replied "no." About ten minutes later he told Sandy that she should call 911; the ambulance arrived shortly thereafter.
  
  He died at about 8 AM in the ambulance when it picked him up from his home. Efforts to ressucitate him in the ambulance and at Arlington Hospital were unsuccessful.^1,2,3,11
